Pet Carriers

Pet carriers protect a pet, typically a cat or dog, from the dangers of travelling. They are made of high quality and durable materials and often have a metal grate to allow the pet to enter and exit when necessary. They should be comfortable for the animal with plenty of ventilation.

The most important aspect to pet carriers is their size. They should be big enough that the pet is comfortable laying down, sitting up and have barely enough room for the animal to turn around. Anything bigger than that and it can be just as dangerous as not having a carrier at all. It is important to bring the animal when selecting a carrier.

Pet carriers should be easy for the owner to carry as well. Larger animals are very heavy and a handle often cannot bear all the weight let alone the owners arm. Wheeled carriers are becoming more and more popular among large dog owners, but they are also suitable for small and medium sized pets as long as they are sized correctly.
