Large Pet Carrier

A large pet carrier is ideal for transporting larger breads of dogs in a safe environment. They are designed for dogs such as great Danes, Labradors, golden retrievers, and mastiffs. They are built much bigger and stronger than smaller carriers to be able to withstand much more weight and abuse from the animal.

A large pet carrier would ideally have wheels for ease of transportation. Since they are so large on their own, and incredibly heavy with the dog inside they can be very difficult to handle and almost impossible to carry. Most larger carriers have wheels that are durable and able to lock into place when motion is not desired. Typically they will have a stiff, robust handle much like wheel luggage.

A large pet carrier can be found where dog and pet supplies are sold although the largest ones may be more difficult to find. Searching the internet is a great way to find the perfect carrier if there is enough time for the unit to be delivered before traveling. Just be sure that it is sufficiently large, but not too big for the dog.
