Cat Carrier

A cat carrier is a very effective way of traveling with a favorite small animal. Ferrets, rabbits, and even chickens can also be safely transported in these small, easy to tote carriers. They can be hard cased carriers that can protect the animal when large objects fall or the carrier is tossed around, or they can be soft carriers that are mostly for comfortable transportation rather than safety.

A cat carrier can be simple yet protective, stylish, or even high tech. Many manufacturers are beginning to make their bags very stylish, some have even hired big name designers, to appeal to a larger market. There is nothing like a pet carrier that matches a pair of shoes or a dress. Often there are specialty clothes included for the animal that match the carriers design.

A cat carrier can be found anywhere pet and cat supplies are sold. They range in price from $30 up to hundreds of dollars for designer bags. Just be sure to get the correct size of carrier, if it is too big it can be dangerous for the animal. The easiest way to get a cat into the carrier is to prop it up on its end and lower the cat tail first into the carrier and then carefully securing it before placing it in the correct position.
